“Win-a-Baby Game” is heartless
By Guest Opinion,
Reuters reports that a lottery in Britain is offering the winner cash prizes to be used towards fertility treatments at top clinics. The highest prize is $40,000 worth of fertility expenses and add-ons liek limo service to teh clinics and luxury hotels. Fertility is diffuclt and complicated human experience. Reducing it to a game show style lottery is a terrible idea. If you want to help those strugglign then help them directly. Do not get their hopes up and make them perform actions to win a prize. I feel these type of games only cheapens human lives and how we relate to each other. I hope they drop this lottery. Read article here.
