The Oregon-made Pink Glove Dance video has been a huge internet hit with recent features on ABC News and Fox News. Last November, Oregon Women’s Report featured a video by Portlander Emily Somers who was able to get 200 of St. Vincent Hospital (Portland) staff members do due a dance on their time off. The video is a promotion for the pink gloves and fundraiser for breast cancer awareness. The goal was to hit a million views and as of this week surpassed four million. On the Fox news clip you can see how the pink glove hospital staff workers got back together at 4:00am in the morning to dance again so they could be on the national morning show in the background while the creators were interviewed.
Watch the Pink Glove Dance Video video: After that, then pass on the Pink Glove Dance Video to your friends and keep the spirit alive.
Beautiful
What a great cause and a dedicated staff.
Aothough I’ve never been diagnosed with breast cancer, I do have to keep a watch as I do have some A-tipical cells and I really appreciate the dedication from the care givers. A big shout out to St. Vs.
What a wonderful gift! And a perfect song for the message.

I love St. V’s. They are best hospital in the area. It isn’t surprising that they would do this for the cause.
Last summer, while family from France was visiting, their little son became ill and needed to be seen by a doctor. I took them to St. Vincent’s for treatment. They were wonderful to them, so I sent the video off to France! They were thrilled to see it and know that they had been there!
