Pink Gloves Dance Video boosts hearts, minds and funds

November 24, 2009

Oregonian, Emily Somers created and directed this fantastic breast cancer awareness fundraiser video called the Pink Glove Dance. Medline features these pink gloves so that health care providers can show their support and Medline itself donates portions of each box sold to breast cancer awareness. The video is an additional fundraiser as Medline has pledged a donation to the hospital if the video hits a million views mark. Promoting the cause and elevating a brilliant idea has never been easier, so watch the video and email it on to all your friends.

Another fundraiser for Breast cancer awareness, and a way to show your support for the cause. Check out my online shop ( just “click” on my name ) for beautiful Swarovski crystal reels for your ID/Security badge. 10% of the sales of “The Pinks” supports Fred Hutch Breast Cancer Research Center In Seattle.
Thanks!

I did some research and found out the following information:

This video is on the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center website, but no specifics.

On checking Snopes (Pink Glove Dance), I discovered the following:

O TRUE: Medline donates a portion of sales of its Generation Pink gloves to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

O FALSE: Medline will be making a large contribution to a hospital when a “Pink Glove Dance” video is viewed one million times.

read this on my mom’s birthday today. she died from breast cancer which spread to her bones then lungs she was a great lady and a dear friend to me. just a year ago and about three weeks my wife past away from breast cancer which spread to her bones and then her liver. So many of our family members and friends have been affected by this terrible disease take some time today and reflect on how precious life is and how important the people God gives us aree. Thank Him for giving us hope through his son Jesus Christ.

Way to go Nina Yates, but can we trust snopes?
Still good video though.
