Read a book? That is what I forgot to do this summer!
In a way I have creating my own book this year. I have been scrap booking, but unlike others I have actually began adding mini-stories to the pages. This is what is missing from many photo books. They need to be story telling books because just pictures are not enough. Tell your family story for the record, because if you do not who will?
One response to Evergreen and then I’ll go on with my pick of the summer. Peggy seems to have strayed off course of your compliment a bit. When it comes to Sarah Palin she seems to have nothing but condescending vulgarities. I was very disappointed in her comments since I too was quite a fan.
Now, my pick of the summer was Storming Las Vegas. Fascinating to have revealed a well-kept secret of multiple armed robberies in the late 90′s in none other than the Fort Knox of security…Las Vegas! I chose the book especially due to the fact I was going to be staying in Las Vegas for a few days this summer. I think reading some fascinating history about a place you visit really adds some flavor to the trip.

I have enjoyed reading articles by Peggy Noonan all summer. She always seems to take time to find the best in people — even public figures.
