Timely question considering it was the topic of my son’s Valedictorian’s speach at his high school graduation this week. The speaker said “white” and I would agree with that considering the reason she gave. White is the color of a blank sheet, a canvas. On it you can add many colors. The color of green showing growth, purple hues of faith, yellow for bright happiness, etc. Adding to that she listed her favorite number, suggested by her 5 year old nephew. The answer was Zero…the number to represent “blast off”.
What an amazing visual to leave with not only graduates, but everyone to step into each new experience as a blast off into the adventures of life knowing that every one will leave a lasting color on our canvas.
