A fifth teenage boy was arrested for a recent MAX Light Rail attack which follows several other mass transit robberies and assaults. Is this rare or a growing trend?

You don’t have to pay security guards to be safe at a mass transit stop. Just hire minimum wage monitors who are there with walkie talkies and also there ot help answer people’s tarnsit questions. It is the presence of others that helps keep crime away.
Yeah, but who will fund the hiring of minimum wage workers? The max is free and is provided by the city. We have enough taxes as it is in this state let alone implementing another one. They’re already seeing resources vanishing and are cutting back on the costs with regard to public safety. There’s got to be a better way.
